Hello! My name is Jasmine Hill and I am a junior at John Ehret High School. I want my peers to know smoking is NOT CUTE, NOT COOL, AND NOT HEALTHY! SMOKING KILLS! My hobbies include singing, dancing, stepping, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, and NOT SMOKING! I have never lost a loved one to smoking…THANK GOD! The SmokeOUT Tour is important because it allows teenagers to teach other kids the importance of staying away from tobacco, the dangers of smoking, and about the risk factors associated with smoking.
My name is Chrishira Perrier and I am a junior at McDonogh #35 High School. I want my peers to know smoking is not good for your body..so if you want to be somebody or make it anywhere in life, don’t smoke or do drugs! Sooner or later, this will lead to sickness, death, or both. My hobbies include attending church, singing, composing music, learning more about theater, talking, laughing, bringing joy to others, and simply enjoying life. I haven’t lost a loved one to smoking and don’t plan to ever lose one, that is why I strive to keep my family members on the right path. The SmokeOUT Tour is important because everyday we lose someone because of smoking habits or the use of drugs. We need to take a stand and do our best to save as many lives as we can!

I want my peers to know smoking is not cool, and you can get cancer even die from smoking. Although I have never lost a loved one to smoking related causes, I am related to an asthma patient….who still smokes! The SmokeOUT Tour is important to me because I can get my voice heard and let my peers know about what is going on in their lives if they choose to smoke.

In my spare time I enjoy singing, acting, painting, watching ‘dem Saints, and modeling. The SmokeOUT Tour is important to me because it shows my peers the threat of smoking and the long term effects of smoking. The tour also stresses how smoking can push you away from your loved ones.

What’s up y’all, I am Deshawn Dabney. I’m a sophomore at O. Perry Walker High School. My people need to know smoking is very dangerous and hazardous to their health. Smoking not only hurts the smoker, but also the people around them. My hobbies include singing, dancing, acting, reading, and listening to music. No, I haven’t lost anyone to smoking, however, I do have a lot of unhealthy smokers in my family including my mother. The SmokeOUT Tour is important to me because it gives me an opportunity to do what I love to do, sing and dance, while doing something to help others. Plus, this is something positive that keeps me occupied.

I want my peers to know smoking is unhealthy and NOT EVEN COOL! I have lost a relative to smoking related sickness. The SmokeOUT Tour is important because it prevents smoking among young people.

I enjoy playing the keyboard, singing, playing basketball, football and writing. The SmokeOUT Tour is important because it lets everyone know that smoking is not good and how to prevent it if you start.

Hi, my name is De’Aunte Byes. I am the younger sister of De’Shante’ Byes. I am a 3rd grader at Harriet Tubman Elementary School. I want to tell other kids smoking is bad for you and it can kill you. I like to sing and dance. None of my loved ones have died from smoking but my aunt is sick from smoking. The SmokeOUT Tour is important to me because I can help save other people’s lives.
I am Alani Chopin, and I am the niece of Kourtney Hart. I am in the fourth grade, and attend Alice Harte Elementary School. Smoking is bad for you. I love playing football! SmokeOUT Tour is important because people smoke too much and need to stop.
